Overview
Set in a unique location on the cliffs of a spectacular sandy beach cove with shallow crystal clear turquoise water and fine white sand. Enjoy breakfast on the large private 40m2 sun terrace and watch the morning sun paint out a spectacular view as the visiting yachts begin to pull up anchor. Facing due south, this is a sun lovers delight. Enjoy full sun all day long and make yourself comfortable on any of the sun loungers. Take a siesta or dine under the shade of the sun terrace's roofed area. This terrace will quickly become the centerpiece of your stay.
Located in the popular resort of Cala en Porter, Acantilado's unique location means you can have total privacy yet enjoy the local facilities as you wish or choose not. A variery of bars and restaurants are just far enough away to walk to but not to disturb you as any sound goes right over the top-you will hear only the water below and the frogs.

Within Cala en Porter there are 3 Bars/places where for the price of a drink you can use their private pools. There are two within 15 mins., walking distance. This is a real alternative to paying the expense of a private pool and not having this view.
The accommodation is built into the cliffs and simply furnished for coolness with folding doors from the lounge that open complete out onto the partially covered sun terrace to give you a terrific view even from inside. The lounge has two settees ( 1 as single sofabed) and two coffee tables. There is a natural air flow from the back of the cliffside to the terrace area so air conditioning is not required. There is a large ceiling fan in the lounge for August temperature highs. To the side of the lounge are the two bedrooms. The main double bedroom has twin beds ( which can be put togther as required), built in wardrobe and window looking out onto the terrace and the views. The main bedroom has a ceiling fan. The second small bedroom has in built wardrobe space and two bunk beds (ideal for the children). Being at the cliffside it is also cooler.
At the back of the lounge is a breakfast bar and simple kitchen area complete with fridge freezer, microwave and gas hob. Finally, there is a bathroom with shower and toilet. For your use on the sun terrace there are sun loungers, recliner chairs, shade umbrellas and table and chairs for dining outside.
For chilling out there is a new good quality Hi-Fi with iPod and USB stick inputs for your music plus a DVD player for evenings and keeping the children entertained while you relax on the terrace.
For your outside evening background music there are the frogs who provide the nightly chorus from behind the beach and the water below to create a very relaxing blend.
There is a "secret" stairway to the front of the beach and the local resort train passes by the apartment on its regular route ( if you ask driver nicely he will stop to left you off) if you dont want to walk back.
