A very spacious apartment furnished in Menorcan style in colourful Es Castell community, where many of the islands locals will tell you it's probably one of the best places to live on the island.
Just off the main town square , the apartment is two minutes walk from the very popular Calas Fonts harbour, where it is heaven to just dine out under the stars, or simply have a drink by the waterside at the bars and restaurants built into caves around this picturesque fishing harbour.
There are endless side streets in Es Castell to wander with Bars, Cafes and Restaurants for young and old.
The lounge is simply but comfortably furnished with 2 sofas and a large dining table to seat six to eight people. The balcony is equipped with table and chairs. Off the lounge is a separate full sized kitchen with washing maschine.
The front double bedroom has a single bed, full sized built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, the bathroom is en-suite with full sized bath with shower over.
The second bathroom similar to above is off the main hallway next to the main bedroom and is again equiped with a shower over the bath. The main bedroom has double bed, built in wardrobe, and two chests of drawers. The third bedroom has a double bed, built in wardrobe and drawers. This bedroom also contains 1m wide double bunkbeds suitable for children.
Es Castell 2 is an ideal base for touring the Island.
Cala Padera (photos summer 2009) is a 5-10 minute walk away offering sun bathing platforms and swimming in the bay with beautiful backdrop views - A real positive suprise! Great for snorkeling. The bay has a sandy bottom ( actually the remains of a beach they tried once to create here ) with rocks either side alive with fish. Above the bay there is a Bar Restaurant and about 500m away a small food shop if you want to make a picnic.
