Casa Galdana is a villa with two separate apartments making it ideal for two families or groups holidaying together who still want some privacy. The Villa is situated in one of the better established residential areas of Cala Galdana - five minutes walk to the beach and fifteen minutes to the centre of the resort. The villa is sheltered by trees, offering peace and quiet. The house offers two spacious self contained apartments that can be rented together or individually. The upstairs apartment (APART II ) has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, modern kitchen, large lounge and covered terrace. The downstairs apartment (APART I ) is newly furnished with 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, lounge, and 40m2 open sun terrace with BBQ. Each apartment has a TV, video, CD, and radio.

The villa has a new, attractively wooden decked 10x4.5m private swimming pool .

NOTE:

Between April and June, and in September and October, the property is available to rent either as one whole villa or as separate apartments. In July/August it is only possible to rent the whole villa.

Cala Galdana beach 5 mins walk away through gate at end of garden or 15 mins following the road if with pushchair.

The rear garden backs on to a pine forest through which you can access the beach. The villa has a large traditional Spanish BBQ situated on the patio with 10 sun loungers and table, 4 chairs and umbrella. The upstairs accommodation has a covered patio that looks over the pool and garden. The main resort has 4 and 5 star hotels which have evening entertainment, restaurants, bars, beach bars, children's play areas, waterslides, and crazy golf.

The villa has off-road parking for one car.

APART I Ground-floor apartment: One double bedroom and one twin bedroom ll with tower fans. (Air conditioning to be installed for 2010). Sharing bathroom with shower and WC . Modern well equipped kitchen (electric hob, microwave/grill, fridge with freezer, toaster, kettle and washing machine) and open plan comfortably furnished sitting/dining room with doors out to the garden (4 seater dining table and chairs, 3 seater sofa, 1 armchair, TV, Sky, DVD, VCR and radio/CD) . The ground floor has recently been totally refurbished.

APART II First-floor apartment: Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom all with ceiling fans. (Air conditioning to be installed for 2010). Bathroom with bath, shower, wc and bidet (Additional shower room planned for 2010). Large sitting/dining room with doors on to a large covered patio ( 6 seater dining table, 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs, fan, TV, Sky TV , DVD, VCR, Radio/CD, open fire) . Well equipped kitchen (refurbished 2009) gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and lastly a separate WC/utility room with sink and washing machine..

This flexible villa has the added advantage of being only five minutes walk from the beach, with the main resort being around 15 mins walk. It has a colourful garden full of bougainvillea and native Menorcan flower, lemons, apples and olive fruit trees. A small grass children's park is a few minutes walk from the villa, as is a gently sloping coastal path which leads to the beautiful protected virgin beach of Cala Mitjana.

Short walks from the bay take you to the beautiful secluded virgin beach bays of Cala Mitjana and Cala Macarella.
