- Airlines. There are more beds available on Menorca than there are available aircraft seats from the uk to bring the guests to them! By promoting your property to english speaking guests from outside the uk there are more chances that they can get there when your peoperty is free. It's just common sense.
- A falling Pound versus the Euro means the island is becoming more expensive for U.K. people - Not so for Eurozone holidaymakers
The U.K market for Menorca is very competitive, with pressure on rental prices. In contrast, the private Holiday Home lets market for Menorca in Germany is very,very underdeveloped. Add to this, that one half of our team has lived and worked in Germany for the last ten years and knows the language, culture and people - it was time to change tactics.

Our latest research indicates that apart from us only 30 private properties are available/promoted to germans on the entire island. Contrast that with 700+ private Holiday Homes from which U.K. people can choose - and choose someone else s property, not yours.
Germans are also active holidaymakers and so the historic, cultural and walking attractions of Menorca appeal to them OUTSIDE OF JUST THE PEAK SUMMER periods.
Flights - low cost /seat availability and finally the Euro.
With the local authorities (quite rightly) limiting aircraft traffic to the island and the large increase in recent years of available Holiday Homes on the island there is now a mismatch which means often your place might be free but guests cannot get a flight.
By looking outside the uk you open up the chances that when your place is free interested guests will also be able to get there! Air Berlin offer "no frills" flights direct to Mahon from at least seven german airports. As well as many of the major german charter airlines offering seats to the independent traveller
The Euro prices are realtively stable for those guests coming for the Euro zone so Menorcan prices are not rising as they are with the Pound.
