Hypostyle hall

Galliner de Madona is a semi-circular hypostyle hall with flat facade, set against the rock on one side and reached by a door with monolithic lintels.

Visible inside are five columns and nine pilasters of Mediterranean type, i.e. with narrow base widening towards the roof.

Some remains on top of the slab roof suggest that there may have been an upper storey.

Access:

Reached from Es Migjorn Gran along the Malagarba - Binigaus Nou path, which starts beside the cemetery. Leave the car at Es Migjorn Gran and continue on foot for a further 2 kilometres to the estate houses, behind which you will find the monument.

It is part of the ANEI (natural areas of special interest) Me-13 area, running from Binigaus beach to Cala Mitjana.

Parking:

None. You can park at Es Migjorn Gran.
