Caribbean style beaches closer to home

Without doubt a big part of Menorca's attraction is the Island's wonderful soft sandy beaches, particularly the undeveloped 'virgin beaches' . Even better, no matter where your Holiday Villa or Apartment is located because Menorca is compact and has so many beaches you are never more than 5 miles away from the next beach!

If you decide not to hire a car, a bus service links the most popular resorts and their local beaches and special beach buses are available to certain virgin beaches - see below for details. Due to their geological origins many of Menorca's beaches (particularly common on the south coast) have gently sloping beaches falling into the sea, making the waters warm, with shallow sandy bottoms stretching out for many, many metres flanked by rocky edges. Ideal for children and great for snorkeling fans too.
